Compiled and edited by Jun Takemura (竹村潤), this 1980 first edition from the now-defunct Tairiku Shobo (大陸書房) captures the Ladies — the female wings of Japan's outlaw motorcycle gangs — at the height of their cultural moment.
Packed with raw black-and-white photography, gang insignia, sticker art from crews including Devil Yokohama and Ōoka Rengō, and nonfiction text structured around chapters titled "Ladies," "I Love Army," "Bakuso no Kisetsu," "Exciting Energy," and "Ladies no Nikusei" — this is subcultural Japan at its most visceral and unfiltered.
