Franco Albini (1905–1977) was among the most rigorous figures in twentieth-century Italian design. Furniture, architecture, urban planning, interior design — he worked across all of them, consistently. The Poltrona Luisa (1950), the Cicognino table (1952), the Fiorenza chair (1952). Objects that became part of daily life without announcing themselves.
This volume, by architect and curator Giampiero Bosoni, is part of the Minimum Designers series — a critical introduction to Albini’s work and life, with a chronological selection of his most significant objects and a survey of major reviews published during his career.
